Divine arrangements for the establishment of Man’s vicergency on the earth: An Islamic perspective

Abstract

This research deals with the preservation of vicergency of man and of his environment in the light of The Quran and Sunnah. It may be hypothesized that Allah almighty has taken special measures for the establishment of coherence and harmony between man and the universe. Man is the viceregerant of Allah on earth; therefore it is emphasized in Islamic teachings that a man has to play a pivotal role in creating peaceful, pollution free and congenial atmosphere throughout the universe.
