The most remarkable aspect of the science of hadith is its status as a fountainhead of all knowledge and disciplines. In addition to information from various fields, the blessed hadiths also contain numerous scientific revelations. Just as the Holy Qur'an includes scientific insights, there are many hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that expound on these insights with scientific accuracy. The prophetic hadiths offer guidance on medical treatments, the nature of diseases, and other scientific realities. Similar to the Holy Qur'an, the blessed hadiths serve as a comprehensive scientific encyclopedia. It is undeniable that the science of hadith facilitates scientific research. All scientific disciplines are based on physics, biology, and psychology. A thoughtful examination of the prophetic hadiths reveals that the teachings of the Prophet (peace be upon him) illuminate various aspects of these scientific fields. Consequently, the hadiths provide essential insights into physiology, a branch of biology. This paper explores the scientific interpretations of hadiths related to physiology, drawing from the research of Urdu commentators of Sahihain.
