The summary of this article is that the Holy Quran has given a place to reason. And its arguments have been accepted. Of course, when there is a conflict between reason and narration and the arguments of narration are conclusive, then reason will prevail. The use of reason is indispensable and inherent in nature for understanding the texts of the Quran. Far from it is far from the principles of nature. And these are the Quranic teachings that repeatedly emphasize the use of reason in the Quran. The reason for this is that in the Holy Quran, there are many places where it is encouraged to understand the verses and explanations of Allah, which can only be understood through reason. However, for reason, it is necessary to have sound intellect, because the intellect that the Quran talks about in the context of understanding the Quran and pondering over the Quran is sound intellect, as if the understanding of the Quran depends on it, because Allah Almighty has given humans reason on one hand. On the other hand, by revealing the Holy Quran for their growth and guidance, He emphasized that the intellect should be used to understand and comprehend the Holy Quran and that one should reflect and ponder upon it so that the hidden secrets and symbols in the Holy Quran would be revealed and everyone, both the public and the private, could benefit from it.
